Robin is currently the CEO of Zingsphere Ltd.
Robin has over 18 years of software development experience. Robin has held executive positions in several companies and is a rare hybrid, possessing astute business mindedness with an exceptionally strong technical background. This includes mobile platforms and communications technologies. Robin is an expert in highly scalable systems and asynchronous design patterns.
Robin produced the first X-Lite application for CounterPath, which has been downloaded millions of times. Robin was instrumental in CounterPath growing from a start-up to a medium sized business.
Prior to joining CounterPath, Robin was Chief Technology Officer for Vocalscape Communications Inc., where his technical expertise lead to the company receiving several awards, including; Internet Telephony Product of the Year Award, Editor’s Choice Award, Innovation of the Year Award and Customer Interaction Solutions Product of the Year Award. At Vocalscape, Robin led the entire development staff including software engineers, database engineers, graphic artists, support, quality assurance and designers. Robin was also technically instrumental in Vocalscape receiving Science Research & Development grants from the government of British Columbia.
Previous to working at Vocalscape, Robin was a Product Development Lead Engineer with Intrinsyc Software. He also served as Lead Architect for Mighty Oaks Wireless Solutions where he worked with highly scalable, distributed online systems.
